New concept of directories

Hi All,

I'm new here and I would like to present myself and my projects. I'm from France and I'm working as a consultant... Hobbies: coding.

I'm working for over 1 year on a business directory. As I didn't find a "ready-to-use" script at the begining (they didn't match my requirements) I started to develop my own scripts.

I learnt everything (everything I needed... Sure, nobody can learn everything ;-)) from HTML to PHP and a litlle bit of javascript...

I'm running now 2 directories
- One dedicated to the Seafood Industry (Business to Business)
- One more generic (general directory)

Both directories are running on the same script with different setup. It works well.... but not a lot of traffic.

In the general directory, I totally changed the concept of categories... I was tired of the actual "Arts & Humanity", "Automotive"... categories that everybody was using... The concept is:
- Select your website category (Blog, e-commerce, etc...)
- Tag your website...

I think it is easier for user to find the website they are looking for....

Here I am :-)

(Can I post urls here? to get your feedback on these?)
