There are only few directories that really does give you link juices. And I guess you already have submitted your links to those directories and is waiting for them to approve your submission..

As an alternative, why not have a list of the most updated blogs related to your niche, good if dofollow, it's ok if it is nofollow, and give your relevant and useful comments in their posts. You could gain reputation through this and those people reading your comment would eventually be curious about you and follow your site.

Here is my Directory List.

It isn't categorised by PR, but by Free, Reciprocal and Paid directories.

It is true that many directory links are not worth much.
It is possible to identify which directories are most relevant, place a value on that and then seek out only the best links.

Please be careful when submitting your sites to all these directories. While some think the benefits of such an action would be negligable, others think that it could result in your site actually losing trust.

Regardless, very few SEO people think that this is a constructive use of your time.

Use directories as a tool to build search engine authority. If Google sees your site as more authoritative then you can start to climb the rankings a little easier. The directories i suggest in my article are very high in google authority and a link from them can definitely help your site out.

What if a competitor submits your website intentionally to a lot of directories to pull your rankings down? I doubt if SEs would consider it as a negative factor. It can only help I assume.
