Dollar linking

I have a pr4 directory, and what i want to do is change it to dollar linking through http://www.phplinkbid.com. I have a local and regional directory now, but i was going to change it to link bidding, but keep the local and regional categories so i will have true script, and keywords with my domain. My question was does anyone think this will do any damage to my directories serp or pr?

I completely changed my web directory http://www.rankland.com to a bidding directory, and i was wondering if anybody could tell me if it has any problems so that i could fix it if need be.

You are taking a risk arn't you. Bidding directories have been getting hit latley with PR devaluation on their internal pages. They are possibly the most easy to identify paid links.

With out risk there is no treasure to be found, and some of the things ive noticed now about owning a bidding directory is they are very search friendly. I noticed that when i aprove a link i will see it in the search in about 5 to 6 days or rt. away. I ve also kept all my search results so i think i made the rt. desition. My old web directory was not search freindly, and it took for ever in a day to give inbound links. thanks for everyones support

You guys were right again i went from a pr4 to a pr0 on rankland, but i just started a new web directory called (ranklands.com)and i will not make the same mistake twice.

You are a little behind the times.

Starting a directory today - is doomed... you got to be a little more innovative.

The problem with your idea of "directory" is the listing itself isn't the value asset... your PR FOR CASH are what you offer/want -- right?

I respect your thoughts, but the way i look at things is in a more positive sence.
For example if the stock market was down would you stop investing. If your kids were sick would you wait for them to get better, or take them to the doctor to get better so that you could have better results.

What your saying to me is pr controls the effectiveness of an inbound link. Google can throw little baby tantrums all he wants, but the strong will servive and the weak will sink, but isnt this how the real world works in genral.
Content is how strong directories,websites,forums, and so on servive. With out having strong content a web directory will not be able to survive, because of websites not wanting to link to you, and in turn hearting your popularity wich will hurt your traffic, and this has 0 to do with googles pr. witch again means nothing as far as serp,popularity,and traffic.


To build a good directory

1.categories=(art)
Script=#1serp in art in lets say google use their script in your iner pages.
90% of directories today dont script their key words

2.Submit every category...
(art directory) in the search
Submit to the first 3 pages
3.submit every country high search on the board that has to do with your directory.
in (art)
4. Script some (art blogs), and send them through the seach.
So on and so on
Then move to Business category..........
a fully constructed web directory is worth its weight in gold.

Theirs alot more to do, but dont spend all day submitting your directory until you've totally constucted it.

Before you start shooting off things you dont no anything about submit to one and if you dont get in inbound link, and you can prove it ill pay for your submission theyre very search friendly. When i started in 4 mo. in yahoos seach there was only 20,000.000 in yahoos seach in the link bid category now theres over 120,000,000 thats some pretty fast growth.

You're not the Dow Jones or Nasdaq... and no one invests in Enron or Worldcom today - and anyone they thinks people "may" because they did at one time is dreaming.

As far as "sick kids" as I understand your kid rankland is sick and instead of getting him well you just cloned him started ranklands... great analogy but what doctor did you use before you gave up on him and screwed all the people that invested in him?

Forgive my stupidty but if I had previously invested in Rankland, do you think I'd be dumb enough to allow the moron behind that failed directory to scam more money out of me?

Well if you did have investments in rankland theres a pretty good chance it helped you in the 21/2 yrs i had invested in it. My pr might have changed, but it certainly didnt heart my search results. Thats something google cant take from a quality site, and as we both know thats what counts.

Rankland directory died because the builder of the site got ill, and had all the software to the website or it would most likely be around today i didnt have rankland built to watch it fall.

As far as ranklands.com being a clone .....I built this directory myself .....It goes when i go im 39 yrs old, and ranklands is going no where, but up...Im putting ranking tools forums, and everything else you can imagine.......Sorry about what happend on rankland if you would like me to put you on my directory email my directory if not thats ok too.
