Bye Bye LookSmart
Looks like LookSmarts lost it's largest partner, MSN. Their stock has fallen at least 58% already. Paid directory listings that LookSmart publishes on MSN generate 68% of LookSmarts total revenue. LookSmart currently has about $60 million in cashto fall back on.
LS Directory results will dissapear from MSN's search results in mid-January and they've already been remove from MSN UK.

dont mean to be adversarial, but about 6 years ago, they "flirted" with paid listings and a client of ours in NewEngland did pretty good with them.....conversions as I remember were NICE and high from their visitors.....
but yeah...they're gone and to be honest I reallly don't see much/any competition on the horizon for Google....but, hey, maybe badda BING, eh? :-) Jim
