Best Article Directories ???

Hi,

To all those that contribute regularly to article directories, which directories offer the most link juice (or link love, as some of you like to refer to it as) back to your website:

- Is it eZineArticles.com ?

- Is it ArticleCity.com ?

- Is it GoArticles.com ?

- Is it any others ?

Please indicate which you have had most "backlink" success to.

Thank you in advance.

Doug

The articles that offer the most link authority are the articles with the most links to them. If you write a crap article and it sits on an article site and never gains any links, it's going to be worth next to nothing. So aim to write something fantastic, something that will help people out, then it will get links. However, ask yourself: Do you really want to be writing link bait for someone else's domain? If you were attracting links to your own site this way, it would be a lot more beneficial.

The best article directory is the one that you will build on your own site and selfishly not share with anyone.

As soon as you share articles you invite other sites into your SERPs. And, if I put your article on my site there is a very good chance that your article will rank higher on my site than on yours. If I put a lot of your articles on my site then one day you will come in here making a post titled.... Wah! Google dropped my site.

I've been watching these forums for several years and many of the threads about sites being dropped.... Yep, people who share the articles from their own sites with others or those who build sites full of shared artcles written by others.

Article syndication is not a good way to get valuable links and not a good way to get valuable content.

Create an article and make it part of your site content. If you really like to spread content on the article DIR/sites, create a separate article/content for this purposes only. Just set your focus in your own content and not just feeding the other sites.

If you do post an article and someone includes the content in their site make sure that you follow it up. Contact them and see if you can write an article just for them in return for a link from a better page in their site with anchor text of your choice. Just make sure the content isn't quite as good as that in your sight

This is something I have had great success with.

Problem is 99% of the sites that use these articles don't have any link juice to pass. Their commonality is they continuously use OP's work and the vast majority of these sites get clubbed with a PR1 at the very best. The ones who work the system to their advantage just reword your articles and drop the back-links. Its the biggest gimmick on the Internet. One out of a hundred succeed at best. Just isolating on one fact I think its pretty good when somebody has convinced you to do their work for them, free of charge, while they draw an Adsense income from it.Of course you're the exception and write wonderful articles you'll undoubtedly be highly rewarded for. Plus I'm not even attacking the slimy nature of the business and the people behind it.

I'll prefer ezine and goarticles for links but if you write your own original content without any publicity or advertising and its really useful to visitors then it will hold for a long time in google listing and drive lots of traffic to your site automatically whether it is Ezine or GoArticles...

Oh what a point you mentioned here great. Pin point is we have write articles for our websites not for others and publish on our website after some times these articles page will be rank and we will get benefit for our website ok there should an option in our articles pages like commenting, sb buttons, book marking, rating, rss.
Ok some times we have to add our articles in SB sites.

Hi,

If you are new to article marketing you must be confused as I was a couple of years back on which article directories to submit your articles to get the maximum output. Article directories are springing up dime a dozen, thanks to free article directory scripts. But the question is which is the best, which is the most visited, which is the frequently crawled, which is the most syndicated. There are thousands of article directories on the net and is ever increasing. Ezine Articles PR-6, The free Library PR-7,Gather PR-7,
GoArticles PR-6.

Sorry to bump up this old thread but I just ran a search and came across it and have a few questions.

I'm just starting the process of marketing my blog site and am writing my own article/post focused around a keyword. Then I'm going to 3-4 article directories and posting another article and then hyperlinking back to my article through that keyword (in the resource bio box).

Does this action itself help to boost my pagerank since I have more incoming links (from the article in the directory), or is it only beneficial if someone takes that article and pastes it on their site?

I wasn't getting any traffic to my blog before when I was just posting my own content, so I need to figure out a way to start bringing traffic in and this has been my main method so far.

Is there something that would work better?
