Search in DMOZ
My site seems to have been accepted by DMOZ in the http://dmoz.org/Computers/Graphics/Web/Templates/Flash/ section, yet if I search in DMOZ...even within the catagory and using my own URL I get no resuts...does this mean that google etc will not be able to see me
Cheers, Doms www.flashtemplatestore.com |

No Mr Spank,
its normal when you get listed fresh in DMOZ that you cannot be found with the search - you have to wait until they put out an new RDF Dump. Then you can be found with Search. And google doesnt do an search at dmoz - Google only foolws the Links and somewhere in big dmoz - there is an Link to youre Website!

If you notice when you search, on the bottom it says 'Lasted Updated Apr 25'
Basically dmoz 'dumps' its data once a week, and updates its search db about once a month. Google doesnt use the search tool ... it finds it through the pages, so do not worry about that |
