Old domain was hijacked - dmoz all over again

I used to have my site on dmoz a while ago but the domain was hijacked by some algorithmic check-for-expired-domains-with-traffic-and-hijack-them thing. Of course, I never got my domain back and the site was removed from dmoz a while back. 3 years of seo work down the drain.

Now i've made a new site and was hoping to get trafic going again, but i'm guessing i have to go through all the waiting again, or is there any one i can talk to?

All you can do is suggest again. If the editor working on that category chooses to use the pool of suggested sites when looking to build the category, then it will be reviewed within 2 minutes to a few years.

If a site was previously listed, then that does not mean it will be automatically liasted again,
