As long as you have relevant information to the catagories you are "applying for you can have multiple listings.
I currently have 32 listings in DMOZ for just 1 website. ( and no I'm not an editor) |

I have definetly seen sites in more than one directory. They are done by different editors, so it is definetly possible. Just make sure you have relevant information. If you are just spamming it, they can blacklist your site!!!!

>> Is it possible to sign for 2 categories in ODp?
Any site is generally eligible for a listing in the most appropriate topical category and in the Regional category corresponding to the physical location of your company/entity. Notice that a listing in the category of your locality only makes sense if you have a physical location where people can actually walk in, and the location is clearly shown on the site. Multiple listings are the exception rather than the rule, and only sites having a great amount of relevant, unique content covering different topics with different sections of the site may be eligible for multiple listings. I don't know which website spherica is talking about, but if it has 32 listings in DMOZ this means it has been considered a very important and valuable resource by different editors (and quite probably this multiple listing scheme has been discussed and agreed by senior editors, too). |
