If you are wondering how to submit to directories, it's quite straight forward. You research the top general directors, and the top niche directories for your industry, than start submitting your website with the best anchor text possible. Pretty easy!

Wlecome..If you specifically mean ODP aka Dmoz Directory (as you posted under this title) then submit as Calindaniel says. You might have to wait a while before you get listed, as the area you submit to in Dmoz will have its own editor, so it depends if they think your site is beneficial for that area. Ie unique, original content..not spammy, same old stuff. So it all depends when the editor decides to review, and if they approve it. If they don't log into their accounts within 3 months they get blocked I think but that is no timescale for your review ! Just make sure you get the correct category or it will take long as they transfer u to another category and u wait again
