Really don't know what you mean. Any on or off-page modifications you want to make to your site has nothing to do with DMOZ. DMOZ; like any directory, search engine, etc.; provides a link to your site in whatever configuration you are displaying. The only thing you can change with DMOZ is category and description. You need only put in a request for a change to your category and/or description. You really do not want to remove your site from DMOZ... it is too difficult to be accepted by DMOZ in the first place.

Reminds me of the thread where the poster wanted to reduce his PR. Weird!

Any and all changes you make to your site are automtically picked up by DMOZ, Google, and all other bot's that visit your site. You DO NOT have to submit again after you make any changes. Just leave your DMOZ listing alone if you are already listed there and do not resubmit.

Try these: http://forums.seochat.com/t11803/s....ree+directories Also, start reading and studying (see link at my signature at the top of this thread). The only path to success is through the path of learning, then applying what you have learned.

If you are listed...leave it alone...They'll never allow you to keyword stuff your title or description of your listing.

You can do a search for the domain @ dmoz
(ex xyz.com)

and it will show you where it is listed in the directory if at all.

Thumbs up

A dmoz listing in itself is worth it. As other members have said above, leave it and be happy that you have it. Read about dozens of hundreds of people who are still waiting for their websites being approved into DMOZ.
