How long does it take to get in D bloody MOZ????
Hi guys

I submitted about 10 sites to DMoz in October last year (yes October)

None of them are in the directory, not even one! They were submitted to the correct categories as I submitted to the same ones as some of my competitors were in.

Are they having a laugh, or is this normal?

Any feedback would be most appreciated.

You will need to re-submit as all submissions got wiped with the server crash.

Where did you get the impression that DMOZ was a listing service for webmasters?
Can you post the URL's?

this is only my opinion..

- make your titles and descriptions very natural.. I mean don't make it look like keyword stuffing..

- post it in the very specific category..

- be patient and wait until it was approved..

i got one my of sites listed in dmoz few days ago, and i check back today and it was gone editor changed his mind i guess.

about how long it takes, submit , thats all, and once. i would only submit the 2nd at the MAX,

there are more aspects to a website than jus being listed in dmoz, even tho it does help.

I LOVE DMOZ!!!!! AND THEIR USELESS FORUMS!!!

You submit your site... You wait a year! You ask on the only outlet that there is, the forum.... and hey say, we don't do site status checks. But don't resubmit because you are spamming and won't get listed..... wait our servers crashed resubmit..... No don't resubmit..... Not sure if you are rejected, can't tell you.... SHHHHHH BIG SECRET!!!!!

WELL DMOZ, come up with a better system if you are tired of fielding all of the questions on the forum...

The questions should be telling you something..... Like a BIG BLUE PAWPRINT.... THEY ARE A CLUE!!!!!!
