How can i edit the description appearing in Dmoz. I tried it once but the email ID is not matching with the previous ID that was supplied while submitting first.

As anyone can suggest an update to a title/description/url, why do you need the email ID used when submittin originally?

BTW - almost all requests to update the description are rejected as not being guideline compliant

I once [before becoming an editor] had an update done to my domain... I originally had spheri.com (Sphericom Inc.) as my company but when I wanted to change from provincally to federally incorporated I couldn't because someone in Ottawa Ontario was using sphericom as a business name - so I change my company to Spheri.ca (Spherica Inc.)

I already had a listing for spheri.com and went to resource-zone.com and within 1 hour the url and title where changed to reflect an accruate representation of the company...

I stress however, that spheri.com could have been found to be inappropriate for the category and sitting in review quene for directories and Spheri.ca possibly in another review quene needing years (if ever) waiting for a editor to review.

My point is this... when a new editor starts editing in a specific they must review all curfrent listings, if your description isn't appropriate from an "OBJECTIVE" vantagepoint it will receive a new more appropriate description at that time...

If a description is grossly inaccuate (as you may seem to think) it likely shouldn't be in that category (missing a bunch of keywords isn't grossly inaccruate) and it may find itself moved and then sitting in the unreviewed quene of another category for a millenium... so careful what you ask for... someone else may say - "yes this domain doesn't really match this category anymore - MOVED TO UNREVIEW DIFFERENT CAT - and wait.

I found sending the Category Editor a polite message after a month has worked on two submissions for me in the past.
Sometimes the Editor is inactive. If you're sure of this, go up a level and send a message to that Editor with your submission details and date of submission etc.
