Google/DMOZ directory refreshes?
Hey guys. I just got listed in Open Directory, so I figure it'll take a week or whatever before I'm in the RDF data they dump to Google, but I'm wondering if anybody knows the last time google did an RDF import is, and what their typical schedule is?
I've read that they do a new import every 2-3 months, and the last one was in February, but I'd love to hear this confirmed, especially from one of our more reliable sources. 8) ~Tom K. |

I'm not sure of the exact date, but it was around the same time as their last update if I remember correctly.
There are still problems with the last import however as many categories, when clicked on from the serps produce 404 errors (category not found).

They seem to refresh more often than Lycos. Lycos last took a dump on July 5, 2002.

I know they take the dump at the same time as the deep crawl. Not sure if they do it again just before the update, but you may find you have to wait until the update after next.
