Dmoz Directory

Friends,
I am submiting many site to dmoz since one year but they are not submited including today. what is the problem plz help me.

Its not a guarantee that your site gets approved and by submitting it again and again as i hope you have did, makes the process even tougher.

Now What can i do.

Seriously i have never worried about being listed in DMOZ. I have always submitted site just for once and forgot about that.

If it does get approved, well and good, if it doesn't, i guess there are more important things to look after.

Many people have similar complaints, myself included! The thing is that DMOZ isn't compelled to add any site to its directory, there is no guarantee that you will be listed.

All you can do is submit your site to the appropriate category, then forget about it.

Speaking of "appropriate category" I'm moving this thread to the appropriate forum

Once you have submitted your site ONCE, thats it. There is nothing more you can do. Move on. Do other things to promote your site.

lol how stupid a directory todo that.

Submit your site once! What if you site became popular after a re-design and is then a worthwhile addition to the ODP yet will not add it as submitted when your site was first designed.

I hope someone creates something better than Dmoz funny how such a good company like google likes them so much.

Because most sites that are rejected are not redeemable.

Our sites are created professional and are for good companies yet never had one listed so you can understand my frustration with dmoz.

I hate the idea of some expert in that category having the choice of my site getting accepted, why would they want to add a site better than their own!!!! It' crazy!

I have tried to become an editor as well, as I like to share good informal sites. But you look at their directory and it useless very hard to find professional infomative sites in most of their catgeories.
