Any reports of Google directory updating?

I was hearing some reports from others that they saw some changing in Google directory. I have not seen any myself just checking.

Let's hope so, but it may not be necessarily the case. I've heard that Google takes the RDF dump at the same time it deep-crawls the web - unfortunately the RDF dump available at the time of deep crawling in February wasn't valid - it had no category id's.

Hopefully, they'll make an exception this month since the directory is so out of date.

Gringo.

Rumour has it (well, GoogleGuy has spoken ) that Google HAS got an RDF dump and will be therefore updating their directory forthwith.

I don't think Google updates the DMOZ data in their database on every dance. I'm not positive, but I don't believe they would since lately it has been causing a major delay in the dance.

They normally do update the directory at around the same time as the dance IF (and recently it has been a big if) dmoz has been able to produce RDF data.

Most recent rdf dump was on 26 March 2003. [http://rdf.dmoz.org/rdf/]

so there is no reason that the dance wont start soon other than google updating hardware or algorithm.
