Any ODP editor [within an open mind]- a question

I got recently accepted as an editor in ODP, very fast accept. I cleaned up my category and doubled the content with sites that I "discovered". Asked some questions about another category, and a meta editor suggested I apply for it. Got a review of my first category, which extremely positive, with only minor errors. So I got excited that I was going to get another category.

Then I immediately got rejected for my second application.

The category I'm in and applying for have absolutely nothing to do with any of my sites.

Now I've been asking lots of questions in the forums there, and some of the responses from meta editors seem very sarcastic and harsh.

I have a couple of ideas, they think all my questions are excessive, and are suspect I have ulteria motives.

or - There is an intentional rejection of people, to see if you can stand the heat, same with nasty answers to question - an atttempt to see if you lose you cool when replying.

I'm also getting paranoid - someone might see this message, and cancel me from ODP.

I have Zero respect for any ODP editor! I think they are all bias and they all have an another motive. I find it hard to believe that people would really want to go thru the hassle of being an ODP editor because they like it. Plus I have been an editor, I have several friends who are current editors and they all have agendas, meaning they have web sites they are trying to help out.

And one of my friends is a Senior Editor. Go Figure....
