Yes, i am in dmoz....the open directory, but i still cant see a link to me site from them, even using google analytics.

if you search on my username and dot com dot au i am in it. But i still cant work out if you put www username dot com dot au it dosent show.

Im actually puzzled but have been told by a friend that i should not worry, it will come in time. But dmoz has been crawled by google for sure, in the last two weeks, so why its not showing the link i dont know.

That other dmoz is just a freebee directory i submitted to.

As google only ever show a sample of links, it may NEVER be displayed. That does not mean that google don't know about it and don't give you link juice from it. If the page at DMOZ that the link is on is cached in Google, then assume you are getting some juice from the link.

how do i tell if the page is cached and i gotta ask, what do you mean cached?

Its cached ... ie it indexed in google
