    Hi Shaunn,

The biggest problem the site has is TTFB, time to first byte. I don't know a good way to fix this without a developer.

Looks like he server is struggling, you need to either upgrade the server or change hosting supplier.
But there is also a lot you could do to help as well, some of the images are huge and you have not enabled gzip on the server etc.
I see your using word press so there are quite a few tweaks you can do to vastly improve page speed, I believe there is a plugin called totalcache but I am not a big wordpress user so others maybe better recommending a better plugin to help.

    Hi Shaunn,

There are some ways to speed up your site :

    1) Use an effective caching plugin :
WordPress plugins are obviously quite useful, but some of the best fall under the caching category, as they drastically improve page loads time, and best of all, all of them on WP.org are free and easy to use.
By far my favorite, bar none, is W3 Total Cache, I wouldn’t recommend or use any other caching plugin, it has all of the features you need and is extremely easy to install and use.
Simply install and activate, and what your page load faster as elements are cached.
    2) Optimise Images (automatically) :
Fortunately, there is an amazing, free plugin called WP-Smu**** which will do this process to all of your images automatically, as you are uploading them. No reason not to install this one.
    3) Optimise your homepage to load quickly :

    • Show excerpts instead of full posts
    • Reduce the number of posts on the page
    • Remove unnecessary sharing widgets from the home page
    • Remove inactive plugins and widgets that you don’t need
    • Keep in minimal! Readers are here for content, not 8,000 widgets on the homepage

    4) Optimise your word press database :
Youcan simply use the WP-Optimizeplugin,which I run on all of my sites.
Thisplugin lets you do just one simple task: optimize the your database(spam, post revisions, drafts, tables, etc.) to reduce theiroverhead.
Iwould also recommend the WP-DBManager plugin, which can schedule dates for database optimisation.
And there are many other things you can do to speed up your site.
