    Question Site Speed

    I have a tiny website that was made with WP. The speed test shows me that mobile speed needs work.

    I have the following Plugins installed:
    Autoptomize
    WP Smush
    Yoast SEO

    What else can I do to speed up the site?

    Thank You

    These things are not always about just install a plugin and its fixed.
    You need to find out where it is slow and fix that issue
    Often its not just 1 thing and there are lots of tweaks but you could run your site though https://gtmetrix.com/ which should give you some clue about where the bottle necks are.

    I run the test and looks like most of the problems were the images. It gives the message
    "There are 14 static components that are not on CDN"
    "
    There are 14 static components without a far-future expiration date"

    I don't understand the first point, but for the second, Does it mean I have to add expiration date on the image?

    Again I dont know the best plugins available but I believe there is one called total cache, that should fix the 2nd issue for you.

    Sometime you can't "fix" everything. Could you post your site?

    Two plugins that I use (similar to two you posted) are WP Super Cache and EWWW Image Optimizer, WP Super Cache because out of all of the caching plugins it breaks on me the least and works well for me.

    Your site speed isn't that bad, honestly. I'm sure you've made some improvement since you've first posted. Looking at the latest GTMetrix (), they are still flagging 'Leverage browser caching/Add Expires headers'. You can add this to your `.htaccess`...

    Code:
    # BEGIN My Stuff #

    	# BEGIN Leverage Browser Caching Headers #
    	<IfModule mod_expires.c>
    		ExpiresActive on

    		# Perhaps better to whitelist expires rules? Perhaps.
    			ExpiresDefault "access plus 1 month"

    		# cache.appcache needs re-requests in FF 3.6 (thanks Remy ~Introducing HTML5)
    			ExpiresByType text/cache-manifest "access plus 0 seconds"

    		# Your document html
    			ExpiresByType text/html "access plus 0 seconds"

    		# Data
    			ExpiresByType text/xml "access plus 0 seconds"
    			ExpiresByType application/xml "access plus 0 seconds"
    			ExpiresByType application/json "access plus 0 seconds"

    		# Feed
    			ExpiresByType application/rss+xml "access plus 1 hour"
    			ExpiresByType application/atom+xml "access plus 1 hour"

    		# Favicon (cannot be renamed)
    			ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access plus 1 week"
    			ExpiresByType image/icon "access plus 1 week"
    			ExpiresByType image/ico "access plus 1 week"

    		# Media: images, video, audio
    			ExpiresByType image/gif "access plus 1 month"

    Thanks Hikin, Just one more questions:

    I have the following code on .htaccess

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_expires.c>
    ExpiresActive On
    ExpiresByType image/jpg "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType image/gif "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType image/png "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType text/css "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType application/pdf "access plus 1 week"
    ExpiresByType text/javascript "access plus 6 hours"
    ExpiresByType text/html "access plus 10 minutes"
    ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresDefault "access plus 3 hours"
    </IfModule>
    Header set X-Endurance-Cache-Level "2"
    Options -Indexes

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^/wp-content/endurance-page-cache/ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} !POST
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !.*=.*
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_COOKIE} !(wordpress_test_cookie|comment_author|wp\-postpass|wordpress_logged_in|wptouch_switch_toggle |wp_woocommerce_session_) [NC]
    RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/wp-content/endurance-page-cache/$1/_index.html -f
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /wp-content/endurance-page-cache/$1/_index.html [L]
    </IfModule>
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    Do I delete the whole thing and add the code you gave me? or add your code without deleting anything?

    Add it, don't delete it. Doesn't matter if you add it before or after the WordPress stuff.
