    Landing Pages vs Content Pages

Our website is a local Marketplace for Services in a small country.

As part of our SEO, we currently:

    - Write high quality guide articles in our blog. (for example https://atyourservice.com.cy/blog/posts/dikhgoros )

    - Have created 100+ landing pages for each category (hence keyword) we are targetting. We test this on AdWords and have great conversion rates.

    (For Example https://atyourservice.com.cy/lawyers )

My question is quite simple. Which page should we try to rank higher - the blog entry or the landing page?

Ideally we would be able to rank the landing page (as it converts much better), but it has much thinner content.

Is it possible , since at the same time we have pages with 2000+ words of high quality content for the same keywords? (obv these pages link to the landing pages).

Well perhaps a way of improving the content on your landing page /lawyers for example you could include a guide on what to look out for, have snippets from certain blog articles for advice etc.

If anyone has given a testimonial about choosing lawyers before why not add to your testimonial section?

There's plenty of relevant content you could add to your landing page that will help people convert and will help you rank.

We are currently testing (AB Test to see if it drops conversion) having a full blog entry relevant to the topic at the bottom of the page.

Can something like this work ?

Also if we do, we will post content on our blog as well but with the canonical tag to the landing page

    Example here: atyourservice.com.cy/catering
