Unhappy HTTP links still in SERP after moving HTTPS

First of all I wanna say hi to everybody since I am pretty new here.

    What I wanna ask is:

I moved my website from http to https almost a month ago.. I've made all the 301 redirects, htaccess redirections things
and wordpress settings, sitemap with all the https links to serve my website only on https protocol. Even though you enter a url
you will be redirected to https version of that link.. It's how what it supposed to be since the day the site moved to https.

But, when I google "site:mysite.com" it shows more index count then my site have and returning over 1400 results for the query
    "site:mysite.com inurl:http"..

    When I check some urls manually I see two versions of the url just like;
    1 - http://mysite.com/an-article/
    2 - https://mysite.com/an-article/

I've been trying to remove those urls via "Url Remover" in Web Masters Tools but they keep coming back after 10 something days.

    What should I do?

    STOP using the Url remover.
if the pages keep coming back there will be a reason, you have missed something. grab a copy of screaming frog and run it against your site and see if it finds any http links, maybe look at the canonical tags for example

    That was just an example.
Google results can take a while to update. By a while I mean quite a few weeks.
A lot depends on how often your site is crawled by Google so it can update it's index

    You do understand that using
    "site:mysite.com inurl:http"..

will return http and https as http is in both

    Hi,

You might have missed something very simple.
Have you declared a new https property in search console a chosen the right preferred version?

Has chedders said, the change can take some time but I everything is done correctly it shouldn't take more than a month.

Could you be more precise on all the stap you took to migrate to https so we can help you spot what you missed.

PS: The link removal is only temporary it is written black on white on the page when you use it.

    Hey Pierre,
Yes I did add https version of the site to WMT and choose it as preferred version.

And the steps that I've take are:
1 - change all internal links to https (not the links inside articles cuz there are more than 5K articles published) ,
2 - change site address from the wordpress panel to https://...
3 - add htaccess codes to redirect all requests whether they come from http or https
4 - update sitemap to list all links with https

Just realized that when I google "https://mysite.com" it returns Did you mean : http://mysite.com.....
Isn't that strange? I googles some other sites with https enabled Google didn't recommend any other query. :/
