Spammy High Volume and High PA Domain Links With 301 Redirects | Is it valuable?

I purchased a domain (http://pengerpadagen2015.com) that has Moz DA of 52 and a PA of 61. Spam Rating of Zero. The domain shows very little to no authentic site activity when looking at snapshops of the WayBack Machine .

When I purchased the domain it was previously 301 to http://bestgamessales.org/

Most of the sites that are linking to the http://pengerpadagen2015.com domain are spammy with hundreds of links pointing out from single pagles and MOZ spam ratings of 7. Example of such a page (www.spsgroup.co.in/index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&task=user&id =4106)

Is this http://pengerpadagen2015.com domain still valuable?

    ------------------

Note: I do not plan on "pointing" this towards my money site directly or using it for a money site.

I do however plan on setting up a PBN using original non-spun content and possibly 301ing it to one of those for an extra boost of juice.

Can any one say whether this would be effective or negatively impact my PBN efforts?

Or would it be better to set up the http://pengerpadagen2015.com on its own site install within the PBN and link out to the PBN from there, rather than 301 to a site.

Or is the http://pengerpadagen2015.com domain complete garbage.

Any insight would be much appreciated as I don't have much experience with PBN's or dealing with doamins that have high volumes of un-natural links.

Google has recently stated that they tend to discount backlinks rather than apply a penalty for them most often....but there are a lot of junky backlinks in there though...my gut feeling is that you should be fine but i'm not sure...the safer bet is to remove the redirects from the domain its pointing to and try to maybe montior what happens to the rankings of that domain that you have it pointing in to..if the rankings all drop terribly, that means that the redirects were helping...if nothing happens, the links were probably discounted and you should keep the two sites decoupled.
