    Google Analytics and Mailchimp

    Hi,

    here is a quick question.

I have newsletter in Mailchimp, every month I'm checking open and click rate and combine that with google analytics report.
    The question is:

If I have an articles in my Newsletter with click rate = 100, and if I have in google analytics report session = 80 (channel - email). Is it correct to say that out of 100 users who clicked on article headline in newsletter, 80 of them have read that article on my website?

    Thanks

You wouldnt be able to say the degree to which they consumed the content....a more precise reading would be

"out of 100 users who clicked on article headline in newsletter, 80 of them viewed the article on my website"

What i'd add is some user engagement metrics to see if the visitors interacted with the page or clicked on to view more content...

    hope this helps
