    Dupliacted Blog Articles

    Hi there everyone!

For a while I had been using a ghostwriter for my blog posts. I would constantly run them through plagiarism testing websites and
everything SEEMED to be going great. However recently I was approached by another website, saying that the content has been
taken from their website. Upon evaluation, I discovered that my writer was using this trick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TftG_54jYDo
in order to ensure my content passed tests, however was 100% copy and paste.

These blog posts have been on my site for a month or two. As soon as I found out they were duplicate content, I removed them all.
Is there anything else I should do in order to prevent an SEO penalty? The rest of the site was created manually by myself and I've
    only just started pushing SEO.

Also, where would you guys recommended sourcing good quality articles?

Thanks for any help you can provide,
    -Gary

Firstly, there is no penalty for duplicate content so I wouldn't worry too much about that, although it obviously doesn't help. There is of course copyright issues too.

When it comes to outsourcing your content it's more or less a case of getting what you pay for.

If you hire professional copywriter (many agencies have these who can write with SEO in mind) you'll get good stuff.

Alternatively, you take the risk with the likes of Freelancer, People Per Hour or Copify.

These sites can be OK but problems like you've just described can easily happen.

Thank you Ivan, I appreciate the response.

I have recently been looking into TextBroker. Just received an order for $18.00 and all the content is unique - quite costly but the quality is there.

Like always you pay for what you get.... Good copywriters and specialists can ask for much more than 18.00$ for an article.

    It mostly comes down to

Research + Organising the content + Writting + Double checking

But writing an article worths reading takes much more time than writing 300 pointless words. If someone takes 2 hours to write the perfect article for you then two hour work from a specialist have a price...
