Change the domain's crypto focus to B2B

    Hi, guys!
I'm here with my very tough question:
I have a domain for the blockchain company that first started as an ICO project (with raising funds via online ad campaigns, all sorts of online publicity and thus backlinks).
We did a successful token sale and launched the product, and now we have a few B2B clients and want to attract more of them via Google Search.

The problem is B2B clients when googling our company see crypto-related SERPs and somehow have some prejudice towards us.
So we need to switch the focus from crypto/ico topic of our domain to B2B.
What we managed to do is to shift some favorable B2B links up in top 10 serps for our brand name, but still other serps are ico/crypto-related.
Currently we think of one solution - having 2 separate domains:
one (present) - to be remade for B2B clients (why we need to keep this domain is because it contains our company name, and we're already recognized by that url),
and second - will be focused on our token only as it is the fuel of our product (this will require all current ico/crypto backlinks to be redirected to this new domain, I suppose).

Question itself: will having 2 separate domains help us to differentiate B2B from current CRYPTO positioning in the eyes of Google?
if yes, how this can be done well from SEO perspective?
if no, what you can suggest to help the matter of such differentiation?

    Thanks for all the help!

Could you PM me the domain, or perhaps drop it into the thread so we have more of an understanding please?

If you want to tell Google "Domain A is a completely different subject to Domain B" they recommend going to sub-domain route.

Honestly, I don't quite understand what you're doing as a B2B - perhaps if you elaborate a little I could give better advice.

The ultimate solution from a link juice perspective would obviously be to stay on the current domain, but if you really think that's doing you harm, in my eyes a sub domain would be the best bet. From a brief look it seems your company has got a good reputation, mentions in Forbes for example. I feel if you completely re-brand for B2B all that work (and link juice) is wasted.

Sorry if I've misunderstood your question, I'm struggling to grasp the specifics 100%.
