    Backlinking for superfood ecommerce store

    Hi guys

I'm new to the forum so I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong section.

I was just hoping to get some impartial advice regarding a backlinking proposal I received from my SEO guy.

The price quoted is 640 and includes 3 x 500-700 word guest blog posts on the following websites:
    - http://www.selfgrowth.com/ - PA 81
    - http://herbivoracious.com/ - PA 50
    - http://www.healthable.org/ - PA 53

The proposed article topics are as such:
    - How To Reduce Inflammation and Improve Your Immune System With Coconut Oil
    - How To Get Great Skin With Oil Cleansing
    - Five Best Coconut Butter Recipes

Do you guys think that the price is justified and can I expect good results from this?

    My website is www.pipkin.co.uk

Any advice would be hugely appreciated

    Many thanks!

    Hi

640 for 3 guest posts feels expensive to me. That said, I don't know your sector.

I wonder whether you would be able to negotiate something with these sites yourself.

    Cheers

The price is not justified. Price is too high.

You currently have no links so it is better if you build links on the right places first.

    - Get on google maps.
    - Post on local directories.
    - See where your competitors are online and place links at the same places.

    Thanks for the responses, guys.

Yep, even though the actual content for the articles is included in the price, I did think it's a bit too pricey after speaking to some people about it.

Strange, as all the work he's done up until now has always been reasonably priced so I wonder if there's a reason he's asking for that much..

I'll certainly get the site registered with Google maps and look into posting on local directories

Can you guys please suggest what would be a reasonable price for 3 links on the website I mentioned? As I already paid a deposit and I wouldn't want to completely back out of it.

    Thanks again for the help!
