If your backlinks are not getting indexed, then they are backlinks that are not worth having. Don't worry about it.

They are nofollowed, so they are not worth having.

But still you need to have a mixed link portfolio? But my question is why they are not shown in backlinks?

It can take search engine a couple of day or week to recrawl the website the link is on and index the link. One thing you could try is use the google url submit tool and request google index the urls that the links are on. This should help speed up the process. Hope this helps

Just curious - where did you hear that from? And why do you think that it's important to have "a mixed link portfolio?"

As cpb says, if you're looking for link juice then nofollow links aren't going to do anything for you. They might give you traffic - but unless that traffic is well targeted, it might not be worth your time either.

And then, as aedank22 says, it takes time for Google to figure out and map all the connections and show them to you. So...it could just be a matter of time.

    I would like to add...

Where are you looking to see if these links have been indexed?

Also, I do agree that you should have a mixed link profile... in other words, a 'natural link profile' but I would spend too much time losing sleep over this. yes a natural link profile would have a mixture between follow and nofollow and if a website have a link profile with thousands of follow links and not one nofollow, then it would look suspicious - but don't loose sleep over it.

If you're looking in Search Console to see if they have been picked up - it is important to note that Search Console doesn't show all your backlinks. I recommend using a service just as Majestic or Ahrefs - these sites have a fairly big index of the web (not full, but fairly large) - and I believe Majestic has a larger index, but they both efficiently and quickly find links.

    Thanks

    HJJ
