363 pages linking to the same internal page

Hello guys, I hope you're all having a good day!

For my website, I'm targeting local search results to then drive them into my money page.

keyword ___ location. On this page, they'll then be a button which goes to the money page.

I'm a bit concerned about the anchor text within the button. 363 of the same anchor, will this be an issue?

Its not a problem for pages like Home which can have many more links to the home page so it wont be a issue.
However you could make better use of the link and vary the text to add more meaning to the target page.
The use of synonyms for example is a great way of expanding your link anchor text.

The money page is a side page. Would this be an issue then?
I could send them to the homepage, but this would mean an extra click to the money page - so the homepage is still an option if linking to the sidepage would be bad news

    I think you misunderstood me.
Many sites link to their home page using the text Home without any adverse effect. To be honest its a wasted opportunity for them as I doubt they are trying to rank for the term Home.

Ok - Sorry if I'm making no sense, just I need to really get this right.

So linking to the homepage would be beneficial, as long as there was a good variety in the anchors.

But, if the links linked to my /driving-test-cancellations page(not the home page), would this be ok? First preference would be to link to this page, and not the homepage.

    yes it would be ok,
I was just using the home page as a example as most sites have 100's of internal links to it.

What I was trying to get across was if you can mix up the text it would be more beneficial for you.

If your lightbulb isn't bright enough, then ....

Every link you use to link to a page from a page on the same site can use extremely rich anchor text. You want to use varied anchor text to reflect your keywords to arrive at the given page. It doesn't matter if it is the home page, a side page, your contact page or money page.

You get into trouble when you have inbound links from other sites using extremely rich anchor text. This is seen as manipulation of the serps and Google doesn't like that to much. Understand this statement is talking about do follow links not no follow links. I do think that your total over all anchor text diversity does take into account both no and do follow links combined.

Personally I never use the same anchor text more than 5% of the time, counting both types, ie do an no follow.
