Yea pretty much, they might have a couple of different algos but other then that they are.

Why they havent merged it i dont know.

its showing Windows Live bringing more traffic than MSN Search. If you claim those are the same how could it showing differently on my stats

Because they are two different websites but they are owned by the same company and are both MSN essentially just not in name.
