Windows Live Does Not Pass Referral
Guys,
Did anyone notice that the new Windows Live does not pass the referral information? They are using some Javascript to track click information, but are not passing it in a URL string... Any ETA on a fix, or an integrated approach to track traffic from the new technology? |

They are aware of it and working to correct the problem... they say that it wasn't intentional. "They" being msndude over on WMW.

We spoke with our MSN rep yesterday regarding this mishap. They acknowledged that the problem does indeed exist, and they are implementing a fix. They also assured us that the past click data is available and will be accessible soon. As you all can imagine, it was affecting both PPC and Organic click data...
