Why is it so easy to get 'back links' through MSN & NOT Yahoo after doing link swap?

Why is it so easy to get 'back links' through MSN & NOT Yahoo after doing link swap -

- I noticed that it's quite easy for certain keywords to get a A.) high ranking within MSN & B.) fast many back links within MSN after doing link swaps (when checking link popularity)!!

- Why is it harder to do the same with other search engines like Yahoo for example?

Let me know...

Thanks

yahoo & msn add backlinks as they find them
its possible MSN is crawling like crazy to better compete against google.
or some pages just is a priority for that se so it take longer from them to find it
maybe msn crawls the site every week and yahoo every 2 weeks

MSN and Yahoo show the majority of backlinks while google doesnt.
There are inevitably differences between their algos that make the Back Links appear more for one SE vs. the other.
