They have not disclosed a date. Rumors are this summer. I feel it will take longer.

Yea, did you know I said longhorn was my guess?

I think I said that months ago.

But I am not too sure...there has been a lot of pressure on MSN to get the search part done even before longhorn. Seems like the only one wanting longhorn is Bill Gates. ;)

My guess, with a little inside info is that the engine we have been hearing about won't be around to view until late 04 to early 05.

I read somewhere (I wish I could remember where) it is/was scheduled for first quarter of 2005. So knowing Microsoft, it will be released sometime in 2010 (with Longhorn).

I think I mentioned this before aswell ;) Showoff.

Supposedly new MSN will be out this year but who knows since it is MS. They've been focusing on a 64bit version of Windows recently and about a month ago dropped the new file format they were introducing into Longhorn. Maybe to speed up the release I see Longhorn mid 2005.

So Longhorn will be another graphic mockup that still crashes and gets hacked since it'll be running on the outdated (Big FAT32) crappy file system.
