What MSN Beta prefers
I noticed there isn't a thread describing what msn prefers. I think we should start a list of what has been observed thus far. - Standard seo on page optimization (Title, H1, etc.)
- Backlinks (I noticed specifically that MSN isn't as picky as G in the variation of anchor text. In fact it seems best for MSN if you have only your keyword as anchor text followed by something else ie "my keyword - my company name"), where google seems to give lower rankings to sites who do this.
- I read in another thread that MSN really loves <B>, even more so then <h3> tags...I haven't seen it myself, but I thought I'd throw it out for others to investigate as well.
Well I don't want to go nuts with the list, as I have only done so much research thus far. Lets see if we can get a decent list of the differences between MSN and the other engines. Please don't post random guesses only observations with atleast some evidence to back them up.
