hmm seing an update looks almost google style
In my industry msn serps have become much more corporate than before.

with several banks and building societies entering in financial phrases where they wern't before.

Serps much closer to google ranking set than before in my industries

one example:

A brand new site (less than 6 weeks old) had got about 20-30 top 10 in v.competative market... I was loving it

Then today it dropped about half including the domain name keywords...

Older sites seems to of been updated but with fewer movements (less dramatic)...

I have the exact same problem gabs had...

My site which was around 6 weeks old, suddenly disappeared... I still have around 600 pages indexed, but as opposed to the 50+ top 10 I had, I now have nothing (from those I checked).

Let's hope this is only temporary!

I can't wait till the results are back to normal... What's worse is that this was my first site, and I was only getting traffic from MSN, so at this point, the only people visiting the website are me, me, and I.

No such thing as normal... just a prior update/filter/algo change which can be undone...

My new site as above was doing too will imho... I was bring in good $ on adsence in the first month with no advertising... Just a few nice ;-) BL...

I have another site that is 4weeks old and hasn't been effected... But this site is a far far far !!! less competative k/w..

I had a similar thing to happen to a site I am working with. It dropped Friday but is back today.

Results seem to be about the same quality as before, though there was a lot of shuffling among the first 3 pages of SERPs that I watch...some from page one now on page three and vice versa -- I guess that's okay...better than what happened with Yahoo over the weekend.

Links still rule in MSN though...maybe a slight filter of junkier links; keep adding them.
