Hi
Yes, seems like internal pages of the sites are being listed. My sites have seen a major drop in the SERPS for a major keyword for which we were on second position till yesterday. Is there an update in process? |

Looks like a major shakeup on MSN for sure. There is a new look to it as well.

I can't say I'm unhappy as my interior pages are top ranking for some very competitive key phrases, but yes I do see the same thing. A few days ago some of my double listings (index over interior) got broken up into interior only. Now only interiors are showing for most kw. Good find! |

Same Here as well big drop it looks like MSN is getting away form the using dmoz to display the desciption. I have faith I will be back soon as this is a fresh update change over and will come back.

Many of the sites that are ranking well are ROOT domain names.
For instance, search for "web hosting" - The first page of results show domains that are webhosting.net webhosting.info, etc...

Nope I think my sites replaced yours. I am seeing my many of my pages rise about 5-10 up into 1-5 spots on first page. With MSN though I see dailey movement on the first page for my keywords. A lot of internal pages showing up with secondary key phrases. |

My main site slipped from #3 to #4 for my most important KW. Oddly, an interior page of another one of my sites now comes in at #7. That site has decent on-page SEO, but very few links (maybe 5 total).
Also, isn't this 'new' look actually the 'old' MSN look? /*tom*/ |

Any more news on this shakeup? I was fine on MSN until this morning. I can't find my index page even in the serps. My interior pages seem to be there.

I was fine on MSN until this morning. Then dropped big time. Was doing well and now it seems subpages are being listed but not my main page.

IMO this is normal stuff. MSN seems to shuffle the top sites in lots of their SERPs.

I also had this happen to only 1 of my sites that I see so far in MSN. The main index page seems to be gone and all other pages still there. BTW this is a pr6 domain thats pretty much for ads. It does not have seem to affected any of my other domains.

I think we need a sticky that reads... "Rankings in MSN are subject to large and frequent flux"
