search.msn.com strips trailing /'s from pathnames
Hulk think Microsoft not so smart. Hulk say try search for Hulkmobile on search.msn.com Hulk point out http://www.komar.org/hulk/ has trailing / stripped. Web Server will do redirect for search surfer, but unneccessary. Hulk say Microsoft should return the "right" URL. Hulk shakes head at Microsoft. But then again, Yahoo does same thing for URL's with pathnames. Google smarter than both of 'em - does right thing. Hulk think Google continue to SMASH as search engine! ;-)

It's an Inktomi thing; Hulk need not worry about this in MSN come December (rough estimate of MSN's own algorithm going live). I don't know why the trailing slashes are removed though...never noticed it; good find.

Aah! That explains a problem I used to have!
 For some dumb reason, my host automaticly redirects URLs without the trailing slash to the same file without the www... eg. www.host.com/updates -> host.com/updates I don't know why they do it, neither did they, still they wouldn't change it... go figure =P
