page title & msn search?
Hello,

When i first build my message board i named it like the domain name NYChat but then I change it to New York Chat (NYC) Message Board.

(msn search) I added a Links page to the site and the home page it shows my site the homepage as NYChat instead of New York Chat (NYC) Message Board and now my site is not showing up in msn search. It doesn't come up as New York Chat (NYC) Message Board it comes up as NYChat.

My question is should i go back to naming my site NYChat in stead of New York Chat (NYC) Message Board?

New York Chat (NYC) Message Board was given to me by someone in another SEO message board.

If you're talking about nychat.net then you should know that your site is cached and indexed as New York Chat (NYC) Message Board , but when you search for New York Chat you find different results since it is harder to get to the first positions in that phrase than getting to first position in NYChats.
Also, I believe that all the links you've got so far were with an anchor text of NYChats - so you will have to start working on more links with the correct anchor text.

Before i added the links page the site was ranking #1 on the term New York Chat. I lost my #1 spot when i added the links page.

I think that's the problem i am having with google too. Since i changed the title from NYChat.net to New York Chat I'm not ranking good at google.

What is ANCHOR TEXT?

EDIT: msn cached my links page when the site was ranked #1

<a href="www.nychats.net">Anchor Text</a>
Where your anchor text should be the keyword you are aiming for.

Anyway, glad to hear you're back to 1st position.
