My Site dis-appeared within 24 hrs out of top-500 results, I am banned?

My Site dis-appeared within 24 hrs out of top-500 results, I am banned:

My site was on the 1st page MSN 1 day ago for the keyword 'free smileys', at this moment I am NOT even in the top-500 sites!?

- What happend to my rankings?
- You think that I am banned?
- What might be the reason for that if this is the case?

UPDATE -

I just checked my statcounter as well, last time that someone came to my site through MSN search was 2 hrs ago for a different key word 'smileys free! Also my site dis-appeared here out of the top-500 now!?

Thanks a lot!

If you still see something on the "site:domain.com" command, then you weren't banned. MSN has very wild swings for new sites and old sites alike...and then some report rock solid serps. This is actually pretty normal though, assuming you still show for the site: command.

Thanks a lot Cygnus!
You gave my positive feeling a little bit back

My site: http://www.freesmileys.us

UPDATE - Though after placing my site 'www.freesmileys.us' inside MSN search bar I don't get my own index page as one of the results! That's NOT good news, I only see my link pages!!

See: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=www.freesmileys.us&FORM=QBRE

You're still in there
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?FORM=MSNH&srch_type=0&q=site%3Awww.freesmileys.us

You type in "site:www.freesmileys.us"

It only has your links pages indexed though. LOL. However, you are in there though....that's usually a good sign.

You need a lot more links into your main page to get fully indexed, and should probably look at posting your domain in the site review section of this forum...there are several things you could probably do to make it better.

Yeah, but if it does show my linkpages only, i.e. www.freesmileys.us/linkpage.php?page=2 IT MUST SHOW ALSO my index page which is http://www.freesmileys.us !

How do you explain that my index page http://www.freesmileys.us was ranked nr. 9 MSN 1st page for several keywords yesterday? This has nothing to do with making things better regarding my opinion! Also my index page has 1300 back links through MSN.

If everything was fine then you should also find back my index page when: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=www.freesmileys.us&FORM=QBNO

Is it possible that my 'index'/main page was banned, but not yet my link pages? (that might explain why it still show link pages!!)

Let me know...

Many thanks in advance for any comments here!

MSN doesn't always show all the page, in my experience. Right now, it feels as though the links pages are more indicative of the site than the index, and as such, chose to list them instead -- once you get more links to the index, you'll come back. This is fairly normal for sites without much of a marketing presence.

IMO some updations are going on with MSN. I was number 1 for most of my KW's now I am gone for most of them. Previously I had more then 150 pages indexed by MSN but on last friday it was showing only one page indexed and today there are 11 pages. Maybe they are slowly getting back to old results(I hope).

I AM HAPPY MAN AGAIN!!
My Web site is back on 1st page MSN for different keywords. Probable, it came back after it was chached on 9/9/05 by MSN spider again & it was down since last time it was cached (few days before)!
So, I learned a lesson here regarding MSN...

I had a similar experience with MSN dropped from number 1 to 112 and back to number 1 in 24 hours... Talk about mood swings LOL
