My site at 2nd spot on MSN but 0 traffic

Recently I found out that my site is ranking at the second position on MSN for the keyword "tooth brush". "tooth brush" is searched 3877 times on overture US according to Good Keywords.

But till now I recieved only 1 visitor from where I came to know that the site was at 2 place for "tooth brush"

How can I improve the number of hits?
For your reference the url is here: http://www.tooth-teeth.info/toothbrush_tooth_brush.html
(Forgive me if this is spamming)

Well... it may just be a couple DCs that have you in that spot and the difference between #2 and #1 is about 600% and overture inflates their data and maybe the description on the SERP is turning people away and maybe MSN users are more interested in [money] than [tooth brush].

To get more traffic for that term take the #1 spot and get it in Google and Yahoo. You can't really force more people to search for it there and if they aren't searching for it you're screwwed because they won't click through.

Oh, and consider that ads may be the first few results and take up to half the clicks for that term.

I just can say few things
1- overture shows more "no. of searches " than reality
2- MSN shares just 5-10 % of the serches
3- You have just 40-50% chances of being clicked.

and i m completely agree with rmccarley that the title and description of your listing can force people to click or can take away, depends upon content.

Despite of that, if his site get ranked #1 on MSN, he still should get a decent amount of traffic.

MSN balls out sucks!!!

For relativley good traffic poker keyword phrases I held 12 top ten positions on MSN. I averaged around one visitor a day.
I would rather hold one google top ten position then a bunch of msn number ones.

MSN is a joke and will not get better with Vista until about 3-4 years down the road. The common person has no reason to get Vista right away.

Msn

Agreed, that your site may be turning people away. On the other hand, we have a few sites on page 1 in MSN that are also well ranked in Yahoo! and Google. Very few referrals from MSN but many from the other 2. It makes you wonder if the search market share numbers for MSN are being inflated or people simply are less likely to click on a listing in MSN than the other big 2.
