It would be due to some of reasons. Your back linked sites are not indexed in MSN, your site is new. Any way congratulations on indexing your site in MSN search.

Yes it is strange. So you got your site indexed right? My question is: All of your site's pages were indexed ? And if so, did you submit all your pages to MSN ?

2 SEs are giving me huge headache on my 1+ month old website.

MSN: resubmit url and last crawled 2 weeks ago. Non-indexed.

Google: I have 3 pages indexed and used to have at least 10 results shown up on SERP, today it is gone(AGAIN! Twice in this month). I checked on "site:www.mydomain.com" and 3 indexed pages are still there.

Yahoo: Best results so far. 17 indexed out of 50 pages. Ranked pretty well on SERP.

Ho-hum...

You're moaning about not having your site listed on MSN, Yahoo and Google? Mate, your answer is in your statement: "...giving me huge headache on my 1+ month old website."

1-2 months is not enough time to get properly indexed on the SE's!!!!

HAVE PATIENCE!

Yes I agreed that indexing needs time.

However, those indexed in Google but receiving ranking drop could be a resulted from a current editing. I see there are about -50 to -100 position drop from previous rank.

All I did was adding a story with 5 picture links on my website, with link description of the same keyword. Maybe Big G doesn't like the spammy way, I have slightly altered it....I hope it will get better soon :s

Your not alone. Many people are experiencing large fluctuation's in Google results. Many sites that are far older the 1 month also. New sites tend to show up in the beginning then fade off as Google discovers something new. You have to keep at it in order for your site to keep moving up in the SERP's. Submit a sitemap to Google and see if that helps.

Something fishy seems to be going on with MSN. Do you have 301 redirects? I know they are not handling them right now. Hurting our traffic quite a bit.

Hi there mate. Yeah I have submitted sitemap.xml on the Webmasters Tool. You see, on Google I have submitted links to some directories, as a result, 2 of them now occupied the 1st page of SERP out of 10 results. But the indexed homepage got dumped to lowly 900+ positions.

Does Big G have some sort of quotas that certain organizations cannot hog the 1st page? So far, no error reports from content analysis whatsoever.

Actually I have the site 301 redirected, it's done on .htaccess, I think it should work on all SEs. Maybe I'm wrong about MSN....

Cheers all.

Join the club.... MSN currently is not handling 301 re-directs. They have a forum at http://forums. microsoft. com/webmaster/default.aspx?siteid=79 (without the spaces) which will allow you to find better answers regarding MSN. We recently put a 301 in place and lost everything from MSN. We had very good rankings in MSN so you can understand our frustration. Many other people are having similar problems.

Hi friends I am back, first of all my question is why you guys are so much worried about MSN indexing while it is on third position in all search engine users concern. According to a suspicious latest, trusted survey MSN gets only 5.33% users from all over the world while yahoo has 20.88% and Google is #one with 65.98% users, while if you go in structure and quality you will find MSN at lowest in all three e.g, in crawling, indexing, hardly picks new pages, no proper sitemap and feed opportunities for webmasters... my friendly suggestion to you is don't waste much time on MSN, don't to say that completely forget it but pay full attention on Google page rank and SERP and secondly preference must be yahoo and keep it in third priority,

In connection to how to improve SERP and page rank in Google I'll soon post some words from my personal experience and collected information from different wenmasters communities, I don't say that I am Google guru but my SERP is #10 in Google and #1 in yahoo with my keywords in meta keywords tag, while my site is 9 months old.

Yours
