Yes, something changed...not sure what yet though. Gut feeling is that they loosened the site-wide link filter a bit. Yeah for DP/LV!

I see sites with only 200 bls as #1, also my sub pages are higher then my main page. None of this makes any sense.

There was deffinitely an update. I am not sure if its stil going on everywhere but for us its over. Started last Wednesday and I noticed some major SERPs movements. Couple of new sites appeared. Some of the SPAM results are gone (at least in my area). I dropped from 4th to 9th. If this was G it would be cause for a major alarm but with M I wasn't even worried. The amount and quality of traffic they send is pathetic. Last night, however, we jumped back (even improved) to 3rd.

Was already wondering what was going on...
Either the bl's kicked in or major shuffle, seems like major shuffle if you experience the same!

After checking some more keywords, it looks like the ones who were heavily promoted in the last month that shot up in ranking.

The rankings for the less heavily or not promoted keywords stayed the same.

It's nice to know though, as this meant in the past I will get almost the same rankings in Google after a few weeks!

Yeah me too,

my home page is ranking on top 100 for many secondary keywords and not listed for my main keyword.

Also the positions change many times.

Whatever the change was, it has reverted in my arenas (all of them). We were in the top 10 for several highly competive terms for the last few days and then Boom, knocked into oblivion.

Hopefully it s a usual MSN shuffle and we will be back in a few days.

Just checked on the top 2 sites for my keyword, they both don't have the keyword on there page or tags. Do you think this is there idea of a over optimization filter, if it is it sucks.
