MSN = Superior Technology.

MSN is going to win the SE wars Out and Out.

They have superior crawling, no sandbox and backlinks are factored into ranking (from my samples of around 60 URLS given IBL's) within about 3-4 days.

They have a few spam problems - mainly from stupid blogger (millions of blogs created by spammers that blogger are too slow to move on) - but Im sure they will drop them out.

Compared to both Yahoo and Google - MSN Search is fluid - with serps being updated daily - not just "everfluxing" - whereby stupid tweaks are made as an excuse for not being able to update constantly.

Microsoft only need more time now to cause the collapse of google - and google have only themselves to blame.

If anyone has stock in G - go sell it and get Microsoft.

I do believe that MSN had some downtime this weekend - with Australian, American and British surfers experiencing a range of connection type errors. I have noted that this week things have slowed dramatically in the updating of the backlinks.

However - with each problem encountered and resolved - Microsoft move one step closer to stamping out a company that was NEVER QUALIFIED to achieve such popularity in the first place.

Microsoft are computer science experts with a history - go with them - we will all be better off. Give them support.

You'll see - my logs are showing a transition - thats not fantasy - its reality.

Someone once told me AV was going down - I listened and acted - even though I was sceptical I knew I didnt know everything - thats just not possible.

Thank god I listened - now its your turn - your fortunes can change inside of one day in SEO - spread it out - and start supporting a MAJOR Third player - he'll soon be number 1.

I know Bruno - I used to have this.

Altavista - 250,000
Google - 50

No worries - we shall see - spread it out - thats good advice from me. It wont harm you............

Rmccarley -

I would like to see Google go down totally (when im moody) - however having M, Y and G more or less equal will suffice. This way all of my eggs arent in one basket.

also, Google updates the backlinks very rarely but if you get a link today, you can be sure that it will be on MSN database tomorrow! Why does it take so long on Google to show your new backlinks?

Im 98 % sure, that Google is using your new backlinks to modify your ranking but doesnt show them to the public, because they dont want US, seo guys, to see why a website has improved his ranking.

one of our sites just got number 1 for a good competitive kw on google just Because we got new links, but the number of backlinks for the link: option shows the same number of links than 2 months ago....

MSN might win the "SEO community popularity" war, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will win any favour with end-users.

I think that it's cool that MSN are more open with the seo community though.... with Google, sometimes it's like we're the enemy.

I might use MSN but I'd never "support" them ... Microsoft is the George Bush of the IT industry ... a big dumb lying bully. But Google are no better, they're greedy power hungry bastards too. They're all fair game in my book.

Al least MSN has the balls to advertise on TV. The moment I saw that I new that msn is going to take over. It won't be long until the next version of windows comes out and you'll only be able to search the internet using msn hahahh

The only thing that scares me about google, is that in the stock trading world I get inside info once in a while, google is buying up entire buildings that are host to companies that are part of the internet back bone. They are trying to build their own internet. They've even bought up big internet provider companies. Within a few years they will launch googlenet and I for one plan to be out on my sailboat with a big fat load of mutual funds locked away and no websites.

I'm happy the google results.. I think msn is to easy with all its bonuses...

You're possibly quite right there. I plan to be doing something else too, the internet is turning into junk very quickly.
