MSN stopped my site Positions.
Hi all,
I have web site, it's Indexed in Google,Yahoo and msn.
But from the past two weeks onwords my site is no where in MSN.

even i typed the Url in MSN but its not showing any results.

Please send me the Suggetions for that.
and
what i have to do for Reget Results.

MSN does seem to be up to something at the moment. You're not the only person to experience this - though the first that I've seen where all pages have gone from their index.

I know that one of my sites went from ~300 pages down to 1 in MSN, and it's as clean as a whistle so I don't believe this is some kind of penalty for breaking guidelines.

How old was your site? So far from what I've seen it's newer sites that are suffering.

Well that would certainly tie in with younger sites being affected.

Assuming that there's nothing on your site that might contravene SE guidelines, I'd suggest concentrating for now on Google and Yahoo since they'll provide more visitors than MSN anyway. Hopefully your site should return to the MSN index soon.

As frustrating as it is to not be indexed, MSN has such a small % of the market share that the effects would be minimal.

Im seeing the same with one of my sites. Domain is about 10 months old. Had hundreds of pages indexed and now only the homepage.

Not even showing up for www.(domain).com

Doing great on google and yahoo and HAD been doing well on MSN. Only whitehat seo used.

Very frustrating!!

My site also has been decomissioned from MSN - TOTALLY!! It seemd to happen to mine on the 15th Jan. All my other competitors are still indexed on page 1 but for some reason, my site has gone!!

The site is nearly 3 years old and is place3d high on Google and Yahoo and WAS on MSN.

I have sent an email to Live support to ask their advice and also re submitted my site.

Had a response from MSN support team who passed it to their escalation team and all that they said is that my site is index and to basically check my keywords. They pointed me to a microsoft webmaster forum where more people were having the same issue. Not helpful at all!!

It seems they are definately up to something or have issues but won't say.

Very frustrated..!!!

The forum is moderated by a microsoft SEO chap who does go on to try and help but has not been around for a few days (wonder why!!).

Same problem
Hi guys,
Same problem with a 1 year and a half site.
More than 3000 pages were indexed and now the site is no longer appear on MSN results.

This is happening to me since october.
Also I tried to resubmit all these months but nothing.

Today I've tried: http://websmaster.live.com to see what happens.

Any solution?

exact same problem. what the heck! i built this site in october, got pagrank just last month from google and it wont show my site in msn. i"m so ticked right now. this is ridiculose that we cant get answers for this. I know its not this site fault. but msn is really getting to me i'm so upset right now. I'm atleast a little glad that im not the only person with this problem. Somthing must have happenend in october.

Well - as if by magic my site has now reappeared back on the top of the keyword searches!! I have done nothing to the site appart from re-submit to MSN a week ago! All my pages are indexed again so..... no idea what MSN are up to but I'll definately be keeping an eye on it!

This recently happened to two of my sites. It took about a month for Live to come back with results for both sites. They came back stronger.

I don't sweat Live very much. I get traffic from Live, but Google is where it is at.

This has not happened to me with with Google or Yahoo. Just continue to build backlinks and killer content for your site.
