This seems to be happening with so many different poeple, and to a range of site, with varying ages, page numbers etc etc.

I too am having the same problems, and have been since Nov 07 time-ish, maybe a bit before.

Pudders, I noticed that out of all of us, your site is the only one to return. - please help me!! haha!
My client's site www(.)dcsnetwork(.)c o (.) u k has many pages indexed on MSN UK, but when we are running ranking checks, Novemeber it was no.1 for 4 out of 5 keywords, whereas now its not even in the top 100. This is also true of our other clients, approx 9 or 10 others, most of which are at least a year old, and have been optimised over the past year...like i say just since November...

Anyone got any ideas???....

focus on Yahoo and Google

Good Evening,

I would say that MSN have been messing around with everyone's sites for so long that it could take for ever to sort out!

I my self have given up with MSN and now focus on Yahoo and Google in my protest against MSN I don't use there search engine or products they provide. Maybe if they receive very little interest from people they may get there act together.

Hi,

I did contact MSN via the webmasters page and told them exactly what happened. They pretty much came back with a standard reply to which I kinda ranted back to em and told them to reinvestigate, to which they didn't reply!! I did also resubmitted my site to MSN as not all my pages were indexed.

Low and behold after 2/3 weeks it came back to its original positions on all keyword searches!! No explanation I'm afraid!!

I rarely got hits from MSN but like they say.... some traffic is better than no traffic!

Pudders
