I think that the new look MSN is the bomb! Have you seen all of the options on there now, in my opinion MSN is by far the best search engine, I just wish the rest of the UK would see it that way then I would much happier clients!

The upcoming editions of Windows will have these embedded in the explorers as well as on the desktops.. so more to come soon by MSN.. And yes, IMO MSN is planning to capture a huge lot of market.. so something big or some big change is expected by MSN pretty soon.. Hope thats for good..

I would say they are far from being that. Their search results are absolutely horrible mostly containing spam sites or subpages of sites. They have a long way to go yet...but this is a good start with the new look and domain.

I have seen a major decline in my SERPs with their new look and I'm assuming a reindexing. It will be interesting to watch but I also think the results I'm seeing are very poor vs. the results before this re-indexing.

I think what's interesting is that the results of Live.com differ from those of MSN.com - not sure why this would be, and whether they'd eventually give the same results, or whether they'll run them almost as two totally separate search engines....

It will definitely help running it as a dedicated search engine, rather than a portal like msn.com. Although, it's blatantly obvious they've taken that idea from Google, i.e. the single textfield to enter the search and nothing else.

semoz recently did a brief thing on credit card results in LIVE. Wasn't too nice.... still a very long long ways for themt o go.
