MSN Penalties, Do They Exist
My site has dropped a lot in MSN, are there penalties involved? How do you find out? Is there a free tool for optimizing for MSN?
My site is http://napoleon.cc and it was ranked in top 2 for search term "Barrie Home Inspector", now I am being beaten by 2 month old sites when my site is PR 5 and ranks well with Google and Yahoo. What gives with MSN? |

MSN is currently a train wreck - their results in some sectors/searches are really bad. We have years old domains with history, backlinks and strong but not spammy on page optimzation that do not appear for any search terms, but hundreds of chinese spam sites do.
It's quite baffling as this does not apply to EVERY search term that we have (1,000's for over 200 sites total). Some sites seem to be "banned" and some don't. The only thing I can definitively report is that keyword in the URL is helpful at this time. |
