MSN listing

I read some posts here about getting the site listed in MSN. If the site is in Yahoo! then it will show up in MSN as well.

My site doesn't show up however. It is listed 4 times in Yahoo in top 30 listings for specific keyword, but for the same, it is not listed in MSN. Can someone clarify me, I know it is a broad and vague question.

Here is the site: http://www.treasurejewelry.com/

Guess you're not in the index that MSN is using then. You'll have to wait for it to update. How long have you appeared in the Yahoo index?

Just put in your actual url - www.yoursite.com

if that doesnt show up in google you either haven't been found yet or you've been removed.

aaa thanks. So how do I get indexed in MSN? I looked at my logs and not found MSN anywhere. Googlebot has highest number of visits, followed by AOL, Altavista and so on. Is it more like wait and watch to be listed on MSN unless I pay for the service via Overture?

Are you sure that Yahoo listings show up in MSN? I have not seen mine there. I am in MSN because of Overture, and Inktomi. I have also recently used bCentral Submit It service, but have not seen the results yet.

It not a question of Yahoo results showing up, it's that MSN actually uses Yahoos index for the moment. Inktomi doesn't exist anymore as an independent index, it was rolled into the Yahoo index.

They are reselling Overture/Yahoo Site Match. The old Ink database does not exist as it was before.

But if you buy this package (submit for $40 /URL) your listing will show up in MSN. I know. I've done it, and that is the only reason my site appears in MSN aside from Overture listings.

MSN no longer use 100% Yahoo, so just because you are in yahoo dont mean you are in MSN.

MSN hopefully have its own search engine out soon!

You can't buy it anymore. It doesn't exist. The service they offer now is a paid sumission to Yahoo which has a pay-per-click component. There's no submission to Inktomi anymore.
