Seeing huge activity here too!
After not seeing a visit from msnbot for about two months (15 visits ever), it's now crawling a new page every 2 min =)
700 pages and counting... i must have done something right for a change ;)

This bot has crawled all my sites and thousands of pages - I wonder what Microsoft is up too?

I also get a lot of traffic from msnbot though it's not as much as google. I also see the yahoo slurp a lot but msnbot is definitely #2 to the googlebot for my site.

I am getting MSNbot visits about 15-20 times/day. About half of G. Wish MSN will come out of the closet soon and show us what they are about on their new engine.

MSN bot is really one the move now...

Crawled about 2000 pages yesterday!!
msnbot64058.search.msn.com

Been several months since it has visited my site, and it's crawling like mad today as well...

I hope we'll see some good results from this, not just a loss of bandwidth...

Me too. It has been a few days now since I've seen MSNbot, but it
crawled my site steady for about a month. In my logs I show close to
200,000 hits from it. SO I hope they include the crawled pages into
their search listings soon.

We too are getting alot of hits from the MSNbot, about 20 a day. But only on about three of our sites. The others are only getting hit once or twice... I guess we wait and see, till MSN goes live with them

I too am seeing a lot of activity. The activity is even showing in SERPS, but the results are bit funny. For some reason, pages that link with specific keywords get ranked higher than pages they are pointing. Not a fun feature. MSNBot also seems to have problems with rtf and pdf - mainly they cause 406 http error.

I don't think they will introduce the new results slowly... too much of a headache. The results everyone is talking about now, IMO, are not the results we will see once they go live with the new SE. With the amount of bot activity we are all seeing, I bet it is close; max of another 30 days.
