MSN Filtering out Adsense Sites?
I did notice that for travel related keywords at least, I did not see any sites using adsense in the first page result....
Anybody else notice? |

I don't think that MSN is kicking out adsense pages.
I have adsense on LOTS of pages with top rankings at MSN. Difficult terms and easy terms. Commercial and info. These are on sites with academic, science, retail, travel, sports and other themes. Most of my sites have all or nearly all of their pages in their index.

Don't believe MSN is filtering out adsense sites. I've seen adsense sites on the first page.

I would be very suprised if they didn't,and I get the feeling it's probably receiving quite a large chunk of the SE budget. If MSN is going to ever equal Google or topple them they will need an adsence killer as well as the best serps. |

i havent seen any filtering out of adsense sites, but it would be cool if they started their own program.

like Egol, we have many sites with adsense and top rankings on MSN. Must have been a coincidence

I've run Adsense since 2003 on most of the pages at www.komar.org and I'm very happy with the rankings that MSN is provding ... ;-)

I think adsense is ok, until they come out with their own program.

I believe what you may be seeing are sites with no true benefiicial content designed for only adsense purposes not ranking. I have read several posts that would lead me to believe it is the case. I don't think it has anything to do with a "specific" adsense filter, I think it has to do with the content and optimization factors naturally weeding these sites out.
Cheers

I see one of these in the number one spot on msn for a very competative keyword (more than 3,000,000 results. |
