I get this error message when i try to access MS> search.

would be great if Microsoft could *code* a nice alternative page i.e. instead of:

have a page with the MSN Search logo saying sorry the service is currently unavailable or such like.

Anyone agree?

I have seen that same error page now and then but it has been a lot less since they went out of the beta stage. Maybe it is due to an update.
